  • Monday, March 14: We are thrilled to announce that CHINGO BLING, the renowned Latino conservative comedian, will perform at the luncheon!

It’s no secret that Texas is the key to preserving a fiscally conservative nation and the key to Texas is our ever-growing Latino population. Please join us and the Texas Latino Conservatives (TLC) as we host the annual Tough Tejano Awards for the first time in San Antonio on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, 11:30am at the Witte Museum. TLC has been working within the Latino community, listening to their struggles and sharing with them how conservative policies can bring about positive change for everyone. TLC plans to spend 2022 continuing to reach out to the millions of Latinos across Texas and educating them on the values we share.

We are honored to co-chair this event, along with TLC, to celebrate Texas’ rich Tejano heritage and to honor some of the Trailblazers across the State who continue to work for Latino families and values (Nominate a Trailblazer here!). Being a Tough Tejano requires a relentless pursuit of liberty and equality for all Texans. This year, Representative John Lujan will be recognized as a 2022 Tough Tejano Award Winner. We want to celebrate John’s service to San Antonio and Texas by awarding this honor in conjunction with Texas’s first officially recognized Tejano Day.

Please join Charlie Amato, the Honorable Henry Bonilla, and the Honorable Hope Andrade, our Co-Chairs, in this momentous celebration by sponsoring a table and becoming a member of our Tough Tejano Host Committee. Tables are $10,000, $5,000, $2,500, and $1,500, or for $25,000 you will receive a second table that we will assist you in filling with Latino youth, young leaders, and college students.

We kindly ask that, if you intend to make a sponsorship donation, you contribute by check instead of online due to the associated fees for online processing. Please download, complete and return the attached form with your check. Checks can be made out to Texas Latino Conservatives and sent to: PO Box 130853, Houston, TX 77219
